Great Weekend In the Jeep!

I left eary Friday morning for Lynchburg, Virginia to visit family. Even though this was a trip on the interstate and my other vehicles would have gotten much better gas mileage I took the TJ just cause I love driving it. It got 18.5 MPG during the 983 mile weekend trip. It rained all morning until I got to Roanoke which had 6 inches of snow. The roads were clear but had to wash the Jeep when I got to Lynchburg to get some of the road salt off of it. All the family loved the Jeep. They hadn't seen it yet. The I6 ran great with plenty of power and the ride was quite comfortable in spite of the short wheel base. I had bought a V8 to go into it but am now considering buying a six speed tranny and looking for another S10 to put it in.

^ Bummer. Everyone loves pictures. Most of my pics are all poser shots cause I'm having too much fun to take them, unless we stop somewhere.

I wish spring would hurry up and get here so I can take the top off!

I did take some "poser" shots at Fall Creek Falls State park last month while I was there for a Motorcycle Safety Foundation update. I will have to try and post them later.
