Green headlight lite on dash stays lit 24/7....?

Good mornin Gents,
On the gage panel is a green headlight idiot light....Mine has started staying lit....If I pull the stalk back just a little like you would to dim lights, it goes out.

Anyone have this problem before? The stalk works fine in all regards except for this.

BTW, thanks to all here for one of the best auto related forums on the web....I read it daily and it really comes in handy.

It's your fog light warning, on your stalk is the knob pushed in?

Sounds like your light/foglight switch may be going bad or sticking. The green light on the lefthand side of the instrument cluster is for factory fog lights, have you checked to see if your foglights are automatically coming on with your headlights? Or do you even have fog lights? If you do then prolly just got some dirt or something in the pull out part of the multi function "stalk".

Cool Thanks!

Actually, I yanked those factory fog lights off months ago....Then installed 4 KC HiLites via relays with pop-in-the-factory-hole switches from a guy off ebay.

Ill go out there and check to see if stalk is pulled out to fog light position...duh

Nope, fog lite switch was pushed in...I cycled it several times and ech time the idiot light would go off, then back on.

Heck, I'll let it go, was just wondering.

Thanks

I pulled the relay and lite is now OFF! Heck, I'll never use that slot, so I'll have a spare relay
