Grill Painting Question

i would like to paint my grill Black, i'd rather not remove it if i can get away with it.

question is this, would it be easier to remove it and paint it, how hard is it to remove?

pics would be great if available.

thanks

Tape it

I believe you have to remove the fenders to remove the grill.. I may be wrong but i found it way easier to fold the hood back and tape the mess out of the fenders. I just sanded and painted it with a few coats of flat black. I like it but it does make it a lot harder to scrub bugs off.
