grizbit- running high oil pressure

changed oil and now runs 80 why?

Thicker oil? I would not worry about it. Better high then low. If it just spiked before the oil change there could be a problem with the relief valve.

You may want to add a little bit of thinner oil(10w30) every month until you change it.

Just did the second oil change after I got the same indication... Still reading near 80 psi on the cluster gage too. I am running 5W30 in mine, so lower viscosity oil is not the cure I always suspected oil in the sending unit connector, but haven't taken the time to prove it yet...
2000 4.0l Sport, Auto, some mods done - planning more
