Groundpounder bumpers

I'm interested in a rear bumper and tire carrier from Groundpounder Fab. Does anyone have any pictures and experience with these. I sure would like to hear how they bolt up and if there are any dislikes.

I really would like to see them mounted on a TJ.

Thanks
John

I'm looking for a rear bumper also. never heard of Ground Pounder so I got on the google and discovered they look painfully similar to Smittybilt bumpers. I would never buy a weak made-in-China Smittybilt and that's my two cents.

I have a tire carrier from groundpounder fab. Functions well, no squeaks, and is definitely not a cheap chinese knockoff. Sorry but i do not have any pics.

Check A to Z Fabricators for bumpers and other Jeep stuff. Looks pretty good and the prices are more than reasonable. American Made.

Can't compare GroundPounderFab bumpers to smittybilt. First they are USA made. I personally don't have one but I will be getting them.

Op go on jeepforum.com, they probably have more on there since BERSK is the owner of GroundPounderFab.

Groundpounder is brute-strength pure American solid steel hand welded by a retired U.S. Army soldier. Banged front and rears into more trees and rocks than I can count and not a bend or ripple in sight. Try that with Smittybuilt

Anyone have any idea where the Barricade Classic from Extreme Terrain are made. I like the look and price but I think they are probably China made at this price.

I have a front and rear bumper from Eddy at Ground pounder fab. He is a great guy, offers vet/military discounts, works out of a little storage bay he turned into a metal shop in Newport News. He's a retired Army welder, and let me tell you this guy knows his stuff. Check out my pics in my profile, you can see the quality. Smittybilt sucks, dont buy that cheap rice metal. Eddy has great pricing, literally my rear bumper w/ tire carrier, inner support trusses, hi jack mount and all grade 8 hardware it was about 650 out the door. I drove up there and shot the shit with him for a few hours when I picked it up, comes bare metal, had both the front and back line x'd. Welds are prof grade, angles match, there was not a single issue with install or fitting. The front bumper has all the little spacers, angles, etc needed for a slip on perfect fit. Highly highly highly recommend this guy over anyone else.

Groundpounder fab bumper here for good price. It's the best bumper out there. I ordered new and then my friend at Jeep got me a killer deal on a jk. Never even installed or painted. I have bumper, tire carrier, and high jack lift mount. American made and I will sell it for cheap.
