If you open your drivers door there's that tag/sticker thing that has the paint code listed for you

Edit:sorry I thought your jeep was already gunmetal blue

No, it is the same color. The different codes should be thought of as "short hand" and "proper name" codes. Let me explain.

Chrysler paint codes are expressed in three-character form. The first letter indicates the model year the color was introduced. The second year gives you the general color. The third character indicates the exact hue of the general color. Taking this into account, the "proper name" of the Gunmetal Blue color in question is TQ7.

As a sort of shorthand, Chrysler often refers to paint colors as either the vehicle's primary color or secondary color. When they do this, the primary color's first character is designated as P (no matter what year the color in question was introduced), and the secondary color's first character is designated as Q (again, no matter what year this color was introduced). If you are using this more common "short hand" designation, it is just as correct to refer to our Gunmetal Blue as PQ7.

If you have any other questions about Chrysler's paint codes (or other RPO codes in general), let me know.

Chili pepper red is a pretty color you could look into. I've always liked the metallic tan saraha color.

Or that light green color they put on the early TJ's. I think it is called Electric Green or something like that. I'm not a fan of green anything really but that green they put on those Jeeps with that metallic green is sick IMO. Especially when they're built up.

My 98 is definately PQ7 not TQ7. They might be the same, but I just had mine touched up and know this is my paint code. It's called Gunmetal Pearl. I like the color and have yet to see another one like it.
