guy at work wants help.

he just at an 01 sport. the po put 4" of spring lift on it and some 33x12.5 on 18" rims. he hates the rims, what are some good choices to put on it in they're place. I am not a tire guy so I have no idea.

33/12.5/15 If he wants to maintain 33's. More than a 15 or 16" rim on the TJ is over kill IMO. I personally have the american racing outlaw II's and love the look of them on my TJ. Rims are a very personal liking though.

Id drive it till it needs tires, then go down in rim size.

He can find a set of used Rubi moabs for around $300 and buy a set of 286 75 or 255 85 tires.

He'll get a lot better prices on tires if he goes to a 15" rim rather than a 16"...don't ask how I know...!

33" tires on 15" wheels is a nice setup. The sooner he gets new ones, the more tread he'll have left on his current tires and therefore hopefully he'll get more money for them when he sells them.
