Some beefier tires perhaps? And don't tire shine the new ones!

Or you could say "well then I'll let you pay the bills in order to make it a 'man's jeep'".

Some more ideas here Making your TJ more "Manly"

Crap im guilty of the shine on the tires... This is due to my obsession with driving clean cars. Theres nothing wrong with cleaning up your baby after hitting the trails but I agree its not as manly and I am sadly guilty... I put shine on my tires yesterday

First of all dont worry about what people call it, it really doesnt matter. But...

You could try ditching those running boards, losing the highway tires for mud tires, and getting a little mud on it.

I got the same thing. three years later a 4" lift, 33" mudders and lots of other stuff and people quit calling it a barbie jeep. If I didn't hate pink I would have painted it just out of spit. It your jeep if you like it thats all that matters.

i agree. The bad thing is one of my old bosses wife had a jeep before I got mine. I was harrased about stealing the boss wifes jeep for about a year before that joke got old.

On a serious note...

It depends on your budget. Start with losing the running boards and bumper jugs. You can do that for free and it won't take long.

Maybe a slight lift, 2" or so, bigger beefier tires and wider offset rims to improve the stance. If money is tight, paint the current rims black. You can also paint the grill and a few other things black using Plasti Dip. It's easy to use and be peeled off without causing any damage.

Simple, stop keeping it so clean and shiny and stop putting tire shine stuff on the tires.

Thank you. It started out pretty much just like yours.
The good news is that you have a good, solid, clean slate.

If you have any questions about anything I have on her just ask. I don't have deep pockets so I am very picky and I shop around a lot when I spend money. lol

There are some tricks out there.
This guys mean, aggressive looking fenders... stock fender flares trimmed back with el-cheepo door trim from Autozone.

If you want some clean tires, get some 303 aerospace protectant. It makes them dark again without the glossy shine
