I have coverking neoprene seats with the red trim. They faded really fast after one year and that was with UV protectant. Plus they do absorb water, hence the swamp butt complaint from a lot of people that have them.

On the plus side, they are very comfortable when dry.

I realize this and the previous two posts totally doesn't answer your tan color question. Isn't the internet grand?

I have a set of black seat covers that are going to a swap meet EOM. I have 2 sets of DIRTYMUDDER seat covers (that way one set is always clean) and won't part with those. BIG upgrade over neoprene.

What are they made out of that makes them better?

I ask cause my dad is doing business with the owner so he's giving me an employee discount so I want to find out how the tan looks before I decide to get it or not

Imagine a fleece "hoodie" for your seats......machine wash, tumble dry, throw back on and go. They are even easier to put on than any of the 3 pair of neoprene I've had. Unfortunately any material that is exposed to the sun as much as Jeep seats is gonna fade. But if you pick the right color it is not as noticeable.

DIRTYMUDDERS are made by a Forum member, but now she has a "regular job" and doesn't make them as much.

IDK if she has stopped completely or just slowed down a lot.
