As for 4 door JK's and soccer moms, you need to hit the trail more. A well built 4 door JK will romp all over your TJ.
No i havent, but i have a right to express my opinion just like you sir. Anything else i have done wrong while were at it? Im all ears.

I've wheeled with a bunch of JKUs and I'd never say were less capable. Yes, tight areas can give them trouble, but all in all both in stock form, a JK is just as capable as a stock TJ. In ten years time, we will be the ones wheeling rusted out buckets next to the JK replacements like the CJs do now. Let's just hope that those replacements are still made in the U.S.A.

WE have a 04 TJ Rubicon. It will be with us for a long time. It has never let us down on the trail and goes nearly everywhere. We am thinking of getting a 4 door 08 or 09 JK Rubicon. Will have the best of both worlds.

Express your opinions all you want but don't get upset when someone expresses theirs. In my case, it's fairly obvious that your opinions have very little experience behind them and, therefore, sound a bit out of place.

I agree with you in regards to preference--in almost all situations, I prefer the TJ. But I'm not blind to some of the fantastic gear the JK comes with from the factory and I'm not ignorant enough to start a "JK vs TJ" argument with someone. They're both very similar (contrary to popular belief) and as long as they're similarly equipped, it's all about the driver.

Well I have a 05 lj And my dad has a 13 4 door jk. I paid 15k for mine he paid 38k for his. Not sure they should both be called a wrangler they are so different. For on road comfort the jk wins easy. But if I wanted on road comfort I wouldn't have bought a jeep.

I think the main thing that bugs me about the JK, either 2 or 4 door, are the sound system. I'm sorry, but I don't need a 700 watt stereo system. Heck, I still have stock radio with optional single cd player and am quite content for now. Heck, I can't hear the radio anyways driving down the highway, so no need for it . But to everyone is their own. I would probably use the radio a lot more if I had the JK and know that the ride is smooth and I can still have a conversation with my passenger.

700watts stock? Man thats alot of sound. Being hearing impaired is kinda a bonus as i dont notice all the odd/annoying noises that come with owning a tj hehehe

As they say, turn a negative into a positive right?

Don't make fun of us.

Another complaint about something that doesn't justify it. What's wrong with decent quality sound?

Not buying a vehicle beause it has a decent sound system seems silly to me. Now, if it has brake dust in the wheels, that's a different situation entirely.

I agree, if anything I wish my TJ had better sound. I can't be the only one who likes music while riding the trails?!

With the top on and the windows up this is one of the best factory stereos I've come across. Now when I take the doors and top off it sounds a little less than optimal, but darn good compared to a $60k convertible. Now if Chevy only made a 4 dr. SUV with solid axles...
