half to full doors

picking up a set of full doors today. i have a soft top on now with the half doors but plan to run the full doors with the hard top. IF i were to run the full doors with the soft top on, i still need to use the whole door surround right? or only the top part of them with the knobs?

It seems to me you're supposed to take that plastic door frame piece off, but then I don't know what will hold your rear side windows on.

to use the soft top you will need the door surrounds. If you take the soft top off you can remove the door surrounds. The doors really can be used either way.
