Halo's for a TJ

I'm curious has anyone put Halos on their TJ, or made Halos for their TJ. If you have post some pics.

Why would you want to make your Jeep look like a riced out Honda?

don't know what hondas you see but I've never seen a honda on 35s, with a cage and 14" of wheel travel(per wheel). Maybe I like the look of Colored LEDs, its my jeep do to what I please with it. Personally I think green LEDs would go nicely with my custom green suspension parts.

It's the halo and a small light in the housing. Looks brighter than they really are.

worse then stock lights? I have HD lenses and the nicer bulbs. I was thinking of making my own halos out of LEDs and keeping my HD headlights.

what kind of bulbs are your HID's? those housings fit a standard h3 bulb so most HID's will fit right into them. I had HID bulbs in them but I decided I wanted a warmer light so I am converting them to 100 watt h3 halogen.

I think the standard h3 HIDs are what I have, except white. my jeep already sticks out like a sore thumb, so I don't want colored headlights but I was thinking green or white halos to use as running/offroad lights.

I originally had the 35 watt HID's in them. Pretty bright but not overkill.

The reason I put the halo's in is because I park in a multilevel garage at work every day. You have to turn your headlights on when you enter or the parking garage police has a fit. With these I don't have to worry about it. They are just enough to act like daytime running lights.

I wired the halo's into the empty locker relay spot in the box under the hood. They come on as soon as you turn the Jeep on.

I like them. I am looking at getting them for the daytime running light feature as you stated. Looks good, and that price is right too. Thanks for the picture.

How is the light beam pattern on those? I had a pair briefly in one of my CJ5s, years ago that looked just like those, minus the "angel eyes", and they were almost useless as actual headlights. Installed them, drove at night once, and ordered some Delta H4's.

So the ones from the SuperBrightLED website can do with anylight you have on your jeep, or am i mistaken?

The reason i ask is because i would like to do it to my stock fog lights as well as headlights, but it might not look good idk

I don't think theirs are big enough for the 7" headlight. Might work for your fog though. The only good ones I've found for a 7" light are the Oracle ones, and those are high. The ones pictured above look good at night, without the headlight on. But you can't see them in the daytime, which is what I'm looking for, like a DRL.

Do all these halos install into the existing light fixture or do the fit around the outside of the housing?

Bought these for my TJ too and the headlights are in with a little modification, but I tried tapping the parking lights for the halos without success. What did you hook the halo wiring to? Those are seperate wires which to me look like they should be able to run off the parking lights. I'm going to try something else.

There are two bulbs that are above and below the main headlight with their own wiring.
