Hampio winch?

Never heard of it just wondering if any of you folks have? Not even positive if hampio is a real brand lol. It came with my jeep. No idea what its rated at but it did pull me out. I know its not a warn, but just wondering about quality/reliability? Any input would be great thanks. Ill post a pic also.

If I'm not mistaken, Hamipo is basically a store-brand generic name (for like Harbor Freight and Tractor Supply). Actually I really think you're missing a few letters to make Champion

They're budget BUDGET winches. People will come on here and scorn you for it, but my motto is, if it works and you're happy with it, then it works. Just recognize that reliability is not the name of the game. Wouldn't recommend relying on it out in a remote area where help isn't within walking distance, but for backyard fun, eh it's all yours!

It's got a Willy's body, a Chevy engine, Ford axles, GM transmission, and Dodge steering components... it must be a Wrangler.

Thanks lol i think it is a champion actually, ive only useit once and never go alone, plus i prefer tow straps anyway the winch just takeup too much time compared to grabbing the strap hooking up, and pulling. But thanks for the info i definitely would have gone with a warn if i was buying it myself. But hey free is free and untill it goes, it can hang out on my front bumper.
