I know this has been talked about several times on this and other forums but....... 97 TJ 5spd 6er. Hard to start. Takes a couple times turning it over to finally start. I have read that it is the fuel pressure regulator most of the time. I will have the tank out to replace it so I am replacing the whole fuel pump assembly which comes with the regulator. Is there anything I should be aware of during this adventure. Of course while it is out I will check all lines and such and clean tank. Anyone already tackled this that ran into problems or anything? Thanks guys and gals
I dropped my tank on my 04TJ this spring and broke my emissions connections on the passenger side behind the taillight. I don't know if the 97 is the same, but I would be careful. It was kind of a pain.
