That's cool. Lots of these guys let the grass grow around 'em.

Oh, you are lucky, my hard top leans agains the wall inside my sunroom, due to lack of garage. As long as it is out of the sun it wont fade as fast. But as for your towels, well, whatever makes the concrete look better I suppose.

lol...i had to put the top in front of the jeep so when i pull up i gotta be real careful not to hit it...oh how terrible it would be if my foot slipped off the clutch in 1st gear without the brake on! but knowing that im SUPER careful!! i dont wanna hit it...its kinda cool that the jeep fit in there even with the hard top...i guess it should be alright on the ground cuz it some smooth surface without the grit of concrete...oh and i had to kick my sis and her mustang out of the garage when i took my top off LOL!

One thing you may consider...set a 2X4 block of wood under each corner to protect the lip from getting chipped or broken.

Yeah, probably best to have something underneath the top, just to protect the seal and lip on the outside... Have you looked at the overhead hoists? They are relatively inexpensive (less than $150) and have a rack and come-along to lift it off the truck... Just another option!
