If you are really strapped for cash you can buy a yj or cj7 top (usually much cheaper than a Tj) and modify it to fit your Tj. This is what I plan on doing once I find a top under $100 in my area. I don't mind repairing rust and repainting one though. Just depends on if you want to put more money or time into it.
