Hardtop Help

I have a 2006 Rubicon that came with a factory Soft top. I just purchased a used hardtop. What do i need to do/get to hook up the wiper, defroster, and windshield fluid. Where do you get the factory style switches.

Try the local dealer or perhaps quadratec. A local Pick-n-Pull may have what your looking for. Or you could just take them out like I'm going to do as soon as I can find/make plugs for the holes in the window.

Pulling it out is not as easy. The power is integrated with the fuse panel. If you do not come with the wiper from the factory, the fuse panel is not wired. The kit has provision for power supply and fuses. Also the wiper/defroster go into several connectors under the dash. You have to have the proper extraction tool for the pins or cut the wires and have new pins to push in your connectors. You also need the dual wpump washer bottle and switches The bottom line is that the wiper/defroster is not a single harness that plugs in.

With that said, I bought the kit and installed in my 03 4 years ago. The kit comes with everything.

So i have another question
The Rubicon has a 4 switch console
1 switch is for the Lockers, another one for the hardtop defrost,
another one for the hardtop wiper/washer fluid
so what is the 4th switch for since the fog lamps are built into the headlight stalk on column

If you have an automatic, that slot is for the OD OFF.
