hardtop storage??

Well winter in CA sucks for the past week its been nice and sunny 65 degree days. We dont really have a good winter.

Well I want to put my softop on tomorrow.

Will storing my hardtop upside down ruin it as in warping cracking the windows etc.

can I stand it up or put it on its side etc..

I live in an appartment and I have a limited storage space.

thanks.

Here's how I store mine;

Short of hanging it somewhere, this is the least amount of real estate it'll take up!

I would store it how sgnellet suggests if you are going to store it any other way than setting it on the ground as it would sit as if it was on your Jeep.

I want to get one of those storage dolly's but I am too cheap so I laid down cardboard on the floor of my garage and set the thing on it so that I dont scratch it up on the concrete.

I've been thinking the same thing. Im going to put mine on 2 palets covered with tarps. I cant put mine anywhere inside so it'll spend the summer out side covered in tarps.
I gotta figure out how to put the soft top on next!

I did the whole Boss Hoss cart set up, so I have someplace safe to keep my doors when they are off as well, and the top is on wheels, to make it easier to move! Also, think about one of these to protect it while in storage..

I like the storage dolly idea but, I am in between jobs right now. I was thinking of standing it straight up like that. I take it the point of contact are the 2 lower outter edges of the window and the middle part.

I plan on laying cardboard on the outter edges and laying a few 2x4's for the millde top of the windsheild..

I woild lay it flat on the ground but like said space is limited.
