Hardtop Storage Cart

No luck when I searched the forum on this. Anyone use one of these? It's the one that stores the top on end to take up less space. 3'x5' of floor space? Is it worth $140? Oh yeah, and the window clamps are $25. Not enough garage height for the hoist-a-top. Soft top goes on soon!

Not sure which one you are looking at, but I got the Boss Hoss setup w/ the cart for the doors, and it works great! My garage floor is a little uneven, but it still rolls around fine when I need to. I'd recommend it to anyone!

how much does the Boss Hoss cost? I've just been putting my hardtop on a large piece of cardboard. It'd be nice to have the extra space since I can't even fit one car into my two car garage!

Just the cart is about $150;

The whole setup is just over $300;

You might be able to find it cheaper, but I tossed that link in so you could at least see what I was talking about.

I have the one from quadratec. It works great. I didn't bother with the clamps, used some cheapo c-clamps from Job Lot.

I have this one: http://www.quadratec.com/products/12020_400_07.htm

It works fine when you manage to get the top on the cart. Also, at least for me, it had to be on the cart just right or it felt off balance. That being said it does do what it says it will do and works fine.

If the price on the cart is too much I'm sure you could easily build one yourself with some scrap wood, caster wheels and some old carpet.

I saw it in 4wd hardware catalog. Its the one on the same page as the Hoss, but it just says its a hardtop storage cart. Looks the same but I don't think it attaches to the back of the Jeep and it recommends the clamps for the windows. For about the same price I think I'll get the Hoss setup. Thanks!

BTW, is it about 3'x5' of floor space?
