Hardtop Wiring harness

I just purchased a Hardtop for the winter for my TJ. I just purchased the wiring harness from Quadratec and was wondering how difficult to install it on my 2000? Also if anyone has any pointer let please let me know. I sall the online instruction and it seams hard to fallow.

Do a search dude. I did this last year and there is all kinds of help out there. There should be a good amount of threads out there. One tip. If your top is a different year than the jeep, buy the harness for the year of the jeep and not the other way around like Quadratec tells you. Let me make that mistake for you.

Hardest part for me was acessing and installing the wires in the plugs (kind of a PITA figuring out were it went) behind the dash. Good luck and take your time.

Note, from a thread on jeepforum, 00 had some mid year wiring changes which may or may not cause your kit to match up.

I installed it on my 03. Not that difficult but the instruction could be better if they at least had a few words of text instead of all pictures.

My 00 is wired for hardtop, it has the big plug and washer hose strapped up in the back of the Jeep near drivers side brake light, but I've never had a hard top, if I can help you out anyway let me know
