Hartop leak question

Got a 98 hardtop on an 06 tj se. water always seems to get in around the rear window. I've tried all I could to slow down the leak with weather stripping but water runs down the bottom seal which I've replaced also and drips down the middle. Also the vents on my tailgate seem to let water in. I have to clue! any suggestions?

Side vents for the hardtop:

Jeeps Are Us: Jeep Wrangler Hard top Hardtop Side Air Vents YJ or TJ

I would make sure that the weatherstripping is secure. If it is pinched or shifted that will happen.

I have a 98 Saraha with the same problem.
All the weather stripping on mine is in excellent shape as well,
STILL...water runs down my back window just like yours.

I've had my TJ for over a year now and still can't figure it out.
At this point I'm baffled, and just put a towel back there when I know it's gonna rain.

If anyone has a fix, please let us know.

On my 04 I have water that comes in the back right corner. Luckily I have a garage to park it in, but if I'm out and it rains I can guarantee that the carpet will be wet. Yet another hardtop water issue!!

Yeah maybe I can just rack up some cash and buy a new hardtop and see if that helps down the road but I know the top I have now is in pretty good shape but the water is minimal just irritating. Thanks for the feedback.
