has anyont tried these Ebay E-Codes

For $50 shipped, seems like a good deal ( with bulbs )- but what do I know?

Jeep Wrangler Headlight Upgrade Pair E Code Euro Diamond 7" 6014 6024 H4 | eBay

Or if anyone knows of another economical e-code.

Thanks

Probably junk, the reflectors look quite dull compared to better quality lights. I'd save my $50.00 and put it towards a better quality light or just buy some Silverstar bulbs and get a little better light that way.

You are probably right. Was looking for Hellas on craigslist but not easy to find.

Yep e codes are e-junk. Mine suck, can't wait to change them and then run over them with my jeep and then burn them before I throw them away so no one else will ever be subjected to their no focus, light scattering, pure crappiness. Waste of money.

I spent a little less than $100 and got a set of Delta housings and 55/60W xenon bulbs. I built my own harness for them and the light output is much brighter than stock.

The cutoff is sharp and after checking the aim, I get no complaints from oncoming drivers.

That is a sick deal. What else would I need to upgrade my lights on a 2014? I put these in my cart, along with the 55/100W H4 bulbs. Where would you recommend I find the correct upgrade harness for this setup?

Thanks in advance.

Really nothing more then a set of H4 bulbs unless you go the HID route then you'd need an entire HID kit. I picked up these due to the housings I had were crap for my HID setup, these housings are nice and well made!

Just got a 2002 Wrangler, and am considering replacing the original sealed beams with these headlights. Is installation as simple as fitting them into the existing headlight housing and plugging them in? Is there more involved?

As long as they come with a bulb yes itll be that simple, these are not the same as a replacement stock bulb where the housing is the bulb. These will take a H4 replacement bulb. Or it'll allow you to install HID's at some point if you wish.

Thanks. Was hoping that was the answer. Have already ordered a set.

Just got those lights in last week. Contacted the buyer about the lens being foggy. Better than stock for $40 so I'm not complaining. Nothing fancy about them.
