Headlight bezel install...

Anyone here know of a DIY or instructions for swapping the front headlight bezels? I am guessing it is as easy as popping off the old snapping in the new but just want to know of any official instruction beforehand...

thanks...

Yep...it takes about a minute for each bezel. The only way to make it simpler would be snap-in bezels

Mine were snap-in when I bought it. I suspect the PO had headlight guards that MD state inspection didn't approve of. Glad they didn't fall out, but they actually do snap in to some extent.

Yep, I've never seen a write up but it's three torx screws (T10 possibly?) that you remove.

Did it today, they are T15. Very easy. You should have no problem doing it.

Very easy, I did it myself and thats an accomplishment....just dont sand down the bezel with a wire wheel on a dremel as it will take off the chrome

I used a scotchbrite pad when I roughed mine up and that paint still didn't adhere the greatest...I've got a nice chip in the paint where I'm guessing a rock hit it. If you're removing em to paint em...might wanna consider just picking up a set of black ones from somewhere. They're pretty cheap...and eventually, you're gonna spray em enough times with paint that it would have been cheaper to buy new ones.
