Not my thing but who cares.

Your jeep bud, why worry about what someone else cares. They don't pay for it.

Not really sure of the purpose of these but they don't look bad in the pictures, just different.

Ordered a set, they don't fit great if you want the angry look, Lost one immediately after putting it on as per instructions. Waste of money

So I'm guessing you had some angry eyes also after you lost one

I have discovered why some of the "eyebrow" ones (not angry eyes) would be useful... my IPC headlights send far too much light upwards directly from the lamp and not in the beam and so I have huge amounts of reflected light from the blowing snow right in front of the Jeep interfering with my visibility. I originally thought it was just the chrome bezels, but after taping them off with black duct tape, it only helped marginally, so at night, I stood on the bumper and looked down at the lights from where the snow was being illuminated and surprise, the bright bulb was directly visible through the lens. It *may* partly be poor lens design (I used to swear by Bosch or Cibie), or they all may do it. Regardless, having the "eyebrow" to block any light from coming upward and having the light therefore limited to a certain height would be fantastic. Too bad it seems that most manufacturers have quit making them.

Since I frequently drive during "no driving" weather (according to the police) due to doing public service and communication work (our club will drive hospital staff to / from work and provide other assistance), I encounter this quite frequently (blizzards, fog, even just snowstorms).

I just had a thought, I may try to rig something using those paint can drip preventers... or just build something myself out of plastic jugs and paint them black or something.

The look isn't that bad, I personally don't care for it. I painted my bezels black to match the grills I installed. As was said, it's your Jeep! Of note: Following the link in the OP, Quadratec says the Trim Rings are "No Longer Available" for TJ, but are for JK.

Is that a real Jeep? If not, it doesn't matter!

I've seen those eyelashes on 2 wranglers now - gag me with a spoon. And I'm a girl. Pretty sure they should be outlawed….

They remind me of these. There is a lady with an M series where I bought my BMW from that has those on her car. I want to take a scissors to them every time I see them.

The ones in your link aren't nearly that bad but I could never put them on just because of the eyelash ones.
