Question Headlight Bezels

I am thinking about blacking out my headlight bezels but i was wondering if blacking them out does anything to the shinning of the head lights at night?

I painted mine. Didn't change anything. Just be sure to sand the chrome bezel a little so the paint will adhere. I learned that the hard way.

As long as you are talking about the chrome ring that goes around the headlight...no.

I used Plastidip on mine. We'll see if it lasts. Went thru the auto car wash pressure!

Did those come with new mounting hardware or reuse the old?

can you plastidip over the chrome to see how it looks and then actually sand the chrome off and paint it if you like it or does the plastidip adhere to the chrome?

The plastidip will adhere to the chrome as long as you clean it really well beforehand. If you like it and would like to paint it you'll have to strip the plastidip off, scuff the shine off with sand paper, wash, and paint away!

No hardware included. I had to reuse the old torx screws which are a different color so I was a little unhappy, but I'm hoping I can find black ones somewhere.

I just left the screws in their holes and painted over top of them. I went as far as sanding the heads before painting 👍
