Golly gee wow!!!!!! over 1k for a set of headlights?!?!?!??!... unless im getting a hologram of christina aguilera stripping infront of my jeep then they can keep them... holy hell batman...
The other ones are cool. I was torn between the two the ones i posted and the IPF's... but if the blue bulbs are crap then no point in paying for em.

I was hoping that whatever kit i got had the ajustmanet housing included. The guy that had the jeep before me busted one of them on the passenger side and i cant seem to find anyone with a spare or one they dont need... scrap yard im guessing.

i like the delta's but 125$ vs 70+$
The price diff seems really big not sure if its worth the difference if im replacing the bulbs either way.

i bought a set off ebay exactly like that, granted its not name brand but it still works and was only $25 shipped, then i bought a 10k h4 hid kit off ebay for $40 and they work great. so $65 for hid's that are super bright.

Everytime i look on there they want my first born and my leg for something like that.

Yea Kelly I too have been looking for HID's.I can not find anything for a decent price EVEN egay wants my left and possibly right nut with shipping! I have been looking at the delta's along with the IPF's, I think I am going to run the IPF's. Have you looked at those yet?

Yea Kelly I too have been looking for HID's.
hold your horses there bud, Kellys link posted in the 1st post is not HIDs.
1st post link again
Delta Tech 1-1149-50X - DELTA® 7" Round H4 Headlight Conversion Kit with Xenon H4 Bulbs for 45-86 Jeep® CJ & 97-06 Jeep® Wrangler TJ & Unlimited - Quadratec

Its a simple ripoff.

If you want power go with true hids or the Fatboys. From my research it appears that the government has sealed aftermarket production on HID housings which makes the replacement hid units illegal. On our 7 ft jeeps, it will be easy to spot them.

The blue ripoffs are worse than stock. Its like getting a nicer light bulb and putting a blue curtain in front of it. It blocks light. Get clear bulbs.

Tripp, I think he was meaning since i said i was looking for some of those also on ebay.. not my original post.

My original post was just what i had found for a decent price.
Cant decide between the deltas with the blue and buy new bulbs or go with the ipf's and buy bulbs.
I'm leaning with the ipf's since they are cheaper and with the deltas im buying bulbs i wont be using anyway so why fork out the cash for em....
But i do like the look of the delta housing..

I just want the brightest thing i can get for the buck.
I have what the eye dr. said is night blideness and so i need mucho light to see anything.

well for the night thing we can just custom up some halogen flood lights from home depot!LOL Really IPF's I think are the best bet with some nice bright white bulbs. Maybe you can run like I am fogs that are 150 watts piece legal no but when I need light I want it.

yeah i think im prolly going to run the ipf's and get a set of bulbs local. I have noticed in the past that the "bright white" or ultra white.. are 100% shiat if it is raining... the light hits the road and its gone...
So that is another part of the budget equation... i have about 100$ give or take 20 for it all... so if i run the ipf's i got about 40$ for bulbs... not sure if thats going to cut it or not.
