headlight question

I just purchased the Hella 7" round conversion headlamps off Morris 4X4 center and I like the lights but they really don't seem that much brighter than stock. I read on a post here that they were a ton better than factory. Did they use a bigger blub or does anyone know?. I can't find the post now. They have the
Hella High Performance Halogen HB2/9003-60/55W Bulbs in them now.

$50 bucks each and you don't notice a difference? Sounds like a rip-off. Good luck with your answers here.

They are a little better but not enough to pay $100 for. Unless maybe I can put brighter bulbs in or something. I have no Idea about all this. I drive a ton at night and want the extra light

I have the Euro version Hella's on one vehicle and IPF's on two. The Hella's are my hands-own favorite; much better light pattern than the IPF's. And plenty bright for me with standard bulbs.

The idea behind changing the housing is to first off make future bulb changes faster and easier, but more importantly to get the E-code patter, the SAE pattern scatters light all over, the E gives a nice flat pattern, much better...Return those and get E code Autopals for $40 a pair on Ebay!!
