Headlight Rings...

I was wondering if anyone has painted the headlight rings? I have a silver wrangler X with black fenders. I was thinking of painting them black, but I'm not sure how it will look.

Anyone have any pictures? What do you think looks better, chrome or black?

Jeeperman 54P with their prerunner bar.

Bumper

Prerunner Bar

I've been happy with mine and the bumper is pretty good, but I have not been hearing good things about Jeeperman lately. That being said, if you do want something from them, don't order from them directly. Use a vendor like RedRock 4x4, 4x4 RockShop, or Northridge 4x4.

We've gone a step further over the painted bezels and just bed lined the whole setup.

This is project Double Duty.

I used duplicolor for mine then painted it a different color.

Yes it is my turn signal side indicator. The wiring runs completely through the hood. I had to drill the proper hole through the hood. Clean up the burrs and paint for rust. I wired them up following the FSM and everything works cake.

what do you mean through the hood? I like the way that looks, if you have time later think you could post some pics of how that wiring runs in the engine compartment?

I can try to get some new pics tomorrow. I ran the wires through the hood support. It runs across the front of the hood and down the middle to the firewall where I ran out to the wiring harness.

that sounds like a great setup. how long did that take you and what size of a hole did you have to cut?

k. ya if you could get pics when you have time no rush or anything but I would like to see how you did it. oh and by the way thanks for that TB/S they seemed to cool the engine a little maybe with a 1-2HP gain, but that might just be that damn placebo effect.
