Best/brightest street legal headlights and brightest tail lights I could buy? Can't hardly see anything backing up at night

Best headlights: Truck Lites

Best headlights on a budget: Hella E Codes

Best taillights: KC LED taillights w/ external LED spreader lights wired to reverse lights and mounted on rear bumper or tire carrier

Best taillights on a budget: Stock taillights with LED bulb replacements

What is your budget? How do you feel about drilling holes in the back of your tub?

When my TJ was almost new, I put on a set of cheaper headlight housings with the replaceable bulbs. Running Sylvania Silverstar bulbs. Way better than the stock sealed beam lights. But, the years have taken their toll, and the plastic lenses are starting to yellow.

I've ridden in friend's Jeeps with the Truck Lite led headlights and they are awesome. But, over $400 for a set is a spendy proposition for a non daily driven Jeep.

If you are not in to drilling holes in your Jeep for tail lights and back up lights, I love Savvy's led tail lights. Minor splicing, Licence plate and, a light for it, would have to be easily addressed.
Quadratec also makes direct fit factory style led tail lights that are plug and play and about half the cost of Savvy's.
I like the ORO lite dots too, but not sure if they have fixed all their issues. My friend is on his second set of the new style.

I did trucklites headlights and round flush fit brake lights and also side markers and CO style grill markers on mine. Very satisfied with the results!

I'll probably get bashed for this but,

Instead of spending hundreds on overpriced taillights, I bought my LED tail lights at harbor freight. Simple durable construction, very bright, waterproof, cheap and easy to replace when say a rock cracks them wheeling. They're 15 bucks. I did the conversation myself. Literally I can see good backing up with just my brake lights. But j added separate reverse LEDs as well. Just saying, try it, spend that 400 on a bumper or something haha
