heater problem

have a 2003 4.0 6cyl; no speeds and no heat....think I need a new core??

No fan no air... You might have heat... Could be switch, fan motor, fuse issue, ground issue. I would start looking at electrical solutions before you go tearing into the heating system. Also after the jeep warms up, feel the two hoses going to the heater core, if they are warm then it could just be a cloged/slow heater core, but get your fan working first.
