I've searched around for an answer similar to my problem, but I'm not sure if i truly have a "problem" or need to make a change.
Ok, so I finally replaced the blower motor switch in my 00 Sahara and everything works fine, except if I want HOT air, I have to get on the highway and hot rod my Jeep until it reaches 210 or wait forever and a half, which I'm at work or wherever I'm going before it finally gets hot. Otherwise it's warm at best. I don't always have the chance to hot rod it (not that I want to hot rod it) to get it warm. Does anybody have suggestions? Would it be my heater core somewhat clogged? Blend door being stuck? Needs a lower temp thermostat (still running the factory thermostat) like a 180*?
Reading the other threads on heat being just WARM, it was either a clogged heater core or the blend door being stuck. But since mine does get hot (just takes forever), I wasn't sure if those would still be suspect things to check. Any suggestions on whats wrong or do I need to just put in a lower temp thermostat?
