Question Heim Joint replacement

Got a laundry list of broken things from a trip to the 4wd shop. One of the items is my heim joint, my question is how hard is this to fix, how to go about it and is this expensive? I've been researching online it's looking like about 41 bucks for a heim joint and it seems to be a bolt and go. Am I wrong, any input? thanks

Where are your Heim joints? If they looked at them and decided one or more was worn, then you should be able to pick it out when you look under there. Heim joints pretty much suck, especially on offroad vehicles, IMO. They wear fast when abused because you can't grease them. They will definately cause popping/rattling when worn. Changing them isn't hard, but you just have to make sure the arm or shaft is the same length when you are done.
