Hello

Hey everyone, sorry for the repost, I need some help(whenever) replacing my clutch.
2000 Jeep Wrangler SE. I bought new clutch kit, just don't have a second set of hands. I'm located in Charlotte, NC. Literally two miles from Epicentre. PM for details. I'll buy beer.

If you haven't tried the local thread post there also. Might get a quicker response!

I tried. My floor jack literally won't reach my tranny. Friends have all back away from helping me haha.

Yeah haha. Sucks. Ive got all the parts and tools(except a tranny cradle). If I had the tranny cradle I would be set haha.
Steak sounds great... Or a spicy jerk chicken cooked over a charcoal grill.

Yea I know but Im not going to shell out 50-70 dollars for an adapter. If I could, I would. Just really is not a smart thing to do, right now..

This is not so bad.
Transmission Jack - 450 Lb. Capacity
I have used this one before and resold it later for just slightly less than I paid. I have a 25% off coupon if you decide to get it.

Or try this one for $32 Opentip.com: 880 Lbs Transmission Adapter
Or go it alone with the whole thing on your chest.

Then again you could use an engine hoist from the top side through the side or rear doors. I found several transmission lifts on CL in the tools section search "transmission"

Yeah. Sometimes it sucks having only the ladies for friends, but sometimes that can work in your favor. Are there any hetero single guys living near by.

I figured something you. Going to use rope, ratchet strap, hi-lift and my two ton capacity hand winch. Sling the hi lift across the top, connect stationary neck of winch to it then create a saddle with my rope for the tranny. Then connect to lifting hook, then use my ratchet strap as a secondary saddle to help distribute the weight.
Just contending with the last three bolts on my skid plate. Already snapped a "thick metal" bi-metal sawzall blade hahaha.

Reply to question: Not that I'm aware of, the guys around my area are skater hipsters haha. So they would not be of much use, not unless I had a bag o' weed.
