Help! 04 blower motor resistor replacement

Ok, trying to unplug the connector to the resistor, have got the red clip pulled forward but have not been able to then get the plug out, is there another trick? I feel so stupid

Oh man, that was a royal pain in the ass when i did it on mine. I wish i had saved pictures to reference... Make sure there isn't a clip on each side, and make sure the one you found is slid in the right direction. I think i ended up jamming a large flatblade screwdriver in the seam between the resistor plate and connector and twisting it. It'll make life a bit easier for you next time if you put a thin film of dielectric grease on the terminals of the new resistor card before connecting it.

needle nose worked for me....not obvious, look for the video it will explain it clearly'
