0442 - small evap leak
0445 - purge control valve circuit shorted

You sure it wasn't 0455 which is commonly seen with 0442 and is just another evap leak code?

Check all your evap system lines and look for cracked lines or lines that have gotten disconnected. If you can't find anything obvious, you'll need to have the evap system smoke tested. Many auto repair places can do that for a fee...they make a machine that produces smoke and they put the smoke into the evap lines...wherever the smoke leaks out is typically the source of your problem.

Btw I've currently had P0442 and P0455 for the past 8 months now...I've replaced my leak detection pump, gas cap, and smoke tested my Jeep twice. It doesn't affect the way my Jeep runs or my gas mileage so I said screw it for now. The only thing it does is annoy me since the CEL stays lit.
