Was driving my 2006 Jeep home today when all of a sudden the engine quit running and the engine light came on. I have 22,000 miles on the jeep, and I am the original owner. I have tried to recover the OBD2 codes but no luck. The engine cranks and tries to start-sounds like it is out of gas, I filled it up yesterday. It could be the fuel pump. I saw some where how to check the fuel pump by the releasing pressure on the fuel rail via schrader valve, but I cannot find it. Any suggestions? I do not have a FSM to go by. I really don't know where to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I finally got a reader which shows P 2308 ignition coil C secondary circuit

No schrader valve on the later models.... I would start looking at the coil packs since thats what you code is.
Violence may not be the answer but it sure cuts down on the stupid questions
