help

Hello there I have a 2001 tj 4.0 5 speed.
I am wondering what kind of fluid should I use for the transfer case (np 231) and diffs dana 35 and 30.

Thanks

I used AMSOIL ATF in mine. But don't be an idiot like me and overlook the four nuts in the middle of the skid plate (mounts Xmsn to the skid plate, since, as I found out, the skid plate helps secure the Xmsn) before removing the 6 bolts holding the plate to the frame. Everything seems to be working fine, hope I didn't break anything. Go with the lazy method in the following link

If anyone knows what I should look at specifically to make sure I didn't hurt anything when the weight of the skid plate jerked the transfer case down, I'd appreciate if you share... It seems that every part involved is designed to flex, but I'm sure my stupidity couldn't be good for it. Thanks

I think the TC just takes ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid) and it looks like Royal Purple has ATF, so you should be good. AMSOIL's site lets you search products by vehicle and component, but it looks like Royal Purple has a phone number you can call and ask on their site. I'd ask a professional over just taking my advise. Hahahah
