Help: BFG A/T tire size?

Hi there, I own a Bone stock TJ and i would like to change the original GoodYear tires but before that, I want to know which proper tire size of the BFG's that suit my vehicle. I want a good tire size for off-road (bigger than those GY's but not very big that could affect its speed).

PS: for example, ???/??/15

This is my Jeep:

You could go to a 31 with a slight chance of a little rubbing on the inside around the sway bar and frame area.It will not rub enough to hurt anything though. If you don't want it to rub at all 30s or after market wheels or wheel spacers or a lift/BB kit is the only other way.But really 31s will be fine and not cause any problems.

I ran this same setup on my stocker for awhile and it rode/drove great. It's not a bad looking tire either. I had no troubles of ever rubbing.

Tire size = 267/76R/15

You can buy it as a 31 10.50. Tires are sold in several standard sizes such as 33 12.50, 35 12.50 and so on. The size you are wanting is metric. You have a smaller size than a 30 inch tire now so it's written in metric format. You need either a 31 x10.50 (31 inches tall and 10 1/2 inches wide) or a 30 x 9.5 (30 inches tall and 9 1/2 inches wide) if you want no rubbing. You also need the last number to be 15, that is the rim size. Lots of times a tire for a 16 inch wheel will be in metric as the size you stated is. It's a 275/70/16 which simply means - 275mm wide 275/25.4 = 10.82 inches wide. the 2nd number is the aspect ratio. Each side wall is 70% of the tread width. 10.82 * .7 = 7.6 inches wide * 2 sidewalls = 15.2 inches of sidewall + your rim size 16 = 31.2 overall height. So that tire would be 31.2 inches tall and 10.82 inches wide on a 16 inch rim.
Hope this helps a little!!
