Question Help Cargo Carrier???

Help - Cargo carrier???

I need some input. I was thinking of getting a rear cargo carrier. I have a 2 inch receiver on the new bumper. First question: How do I get past the spare tire? The bumper mount is right under the spare tire. Second: Can I extend the carrier to clear the spare tire? What have some of you done? Thanks

Have you actually looked at the cargo carrier that you want? When I had mine (last Jeep) I didn't have any issues with the tire and the rack. I could get a large chest cooler and 2 big duffels on there for long trips... Worked great. How big is your spare, and do you have it mounted to the tailgate, or on a swing-out type carrier?

If you have to ask what it is or what it does, you don't need it, and you will need help to install it!

Darn good questions - 35 inch tires - mounted on the tailgate. I am looking at one that is on sale from Harbor Freight. I think I will buy it and see if it fits.
Thanks
