Help !!! Check engine light on

I have and 04 TJ. The check engine light is on and the dash panel says no fuse. What could this possibly be ? Are the two related or separate problems. I need to get this fixed cause I am due for inspection next month. Any help please ?

Do a search on "No Fuse" I had that after I shorted one of the interior light wires. It is one of the fuses under the hood in the power distribution box. I found out which one via searching.

Sneakynut, on the dash where it reads out the mileage it says no fuse in neutral until I start to drive.
Neil F, I will look under the hood at the fuse box to see if I can find a blow fuse there. I cant get a read with the scanner. Scanner says there is no connection when I plug it in. This I cant understand. Any suggestions ?

I know certain year jeeps had a recall for obd issues. Wonder if the fuse for that is blown and that's y your not getting anything. This is just a thought you may wish to look into.

Thanks Jimsjeep and everyone else.
I found a 10amp accessory fuse blown. Replaced and now have interior lights working. Scanned the system and had 3 codes. PO138, PO455,PO442. I checked the gas cap and tightened. This may be and O2 sensor. I cleared the check engine light by removing the positive battery cable and then reinstalling. Now I will wait and see if the check engine light comes back on. Do you guys think I should still replace the O2 sensor ?
