Angry Help! Dash brake light driving me insane!!

I have a 2004 wrangler, about couple weeks ago the brake light on the dash started blinking and beeping.. So I had it checked out and inspected. It passed inspection, no problems/leaks found in the brake system, and my brake fluid is full. The mechanic told me if the beeping continues, that the magnetic censor in the brake fluid might be stuck at the bottom and I'd have to have it drained to be repaired. Well, the blinking and beeping is nearly constant now, and driving me half mad.

I guess my question would be, is there anything else that could be causing this other than a malfunction in the brake fluid censor.. and if not, is there anyway to deactivate the beeping, maybe via pulling a certain fuse?

Thanks for any help in advance!

I am sure that the experts will chime in soon, but first thing I would do is get a second opinion!

If they didn't find any problems wiwth the main system, Check your emergency brakes and see if they are working correctly, and properly adjusted. That light will activate when the emergency brakes are applied too, so I would check all the easy sensors first...

You do have a fuse behind the glove box that will stop the beeping. It will also stop your dome lights from working when you open your doors. I believe it is fuse #4.

I also have the same problem, and I know the emergency break is not engaged, and the fluid is full, and I also just replaced the rear drivers side brake caliper, and the #4 fuse has also been removed and light still comes on Is there anything else I can do or check that might stop the light from coming on?

Thanks
