Help gauge cluster not working???

in my girls 2000 jeep her guage cluster will just random quit working, and everything will drop down to zero and all the dummy lights will come on. It is also say " no bu5" or no bus, could be a 5 or an S hard to tell. what does this mean???

It says no bus. The connectors behind the dash tend to get loose and will drop the connection. Once they seat again the gauges come back online. The best fix I have seen for this is to remove the dash console. Clean the bus connectors thoroughly and squirt some di-electric grease on them. Reseat the dash console firmly. Some people have gone to the lengths of bending their connectors to make sure they are seated properly but I didn't have to on mine.

This is a very common problem so nothing to be concerned about.
