Thumbs down HELP! How/can i replace the spider gears in my rear differental

ok so i have a arb air locker in the rear end of my 2004 jeep wrangler. i broke an axle shaft and when trying to get the broken shaft out i ran into two problems. first i noticed that the spider gears were chewed up a bit and also the carrier center shaft that held the spider gears would not come out. i was able to get it out but i wrecked it in the process. here is my question. can i replace those gears and where can i find a rebuild kit. everywhere i have looked doesnt seem to have just the spider gears. can any spider gears that will fit in that carrier go in?

Did u check Superiors site I ate some spiders last weekend and want to replace them and you cant just buy them you have to get a clutch pack too I called the guy at my local gear shop and he said he has some he will sell me for 50$ if I bring them in and match them up he said he gets a lot of them for jeeps after 97 the older ones are getting harder for him to find. You cant fit just any in there.

You said you have an ARB air locker, right? I would assume you would need ARB specific parts then if you are attempting to rebuild that unit.

The spider gears come as a kit with the side gears. You cannot buy just the spider gears. What ARB locker do yo have? RD102 or RD105? The part number for the gears is 728J011C for the RD 102 & 728J031C for the RD 105. Talk to the ARB techs and they may cut you a discount. They did for me.
