Help... just got my first Quadratec Catalog...

I've dog-eared almost every single page, cuz I WANT EVERYTHING IN THERE!!!

So far the "essentials" are:
1) Fog light kit - driving at night in the snow, my headlights were too high to effectively see the ground. I'm currently looking at the KC Slimlites ($170) and the Hella 500 ($100).

2) I need some sort of security thing... so far looking at the Extend a trunk for the back and a security console.

Budget is really tight (being that I just bought this thing), but I want quality that'll last me, ideally, as long the jeep itself.

Opinions appreciated.

J

My woman just ordered Quadratec floor liners, grab handles and a Jeep key blank shaped like a rock for my Christmas gifts. Ho ho ho! I love their catalog. I think a lot of the off road lights are too pricey.

shop everything on google by manufacture's part #. Quadratec will match or beat almost any price. I always look for sites with free shipping.

Quadratec is a nice catalog to get ideas and then go shopping elsewhere.

X2 on Amazon. They actually have a lot of automotive stuff for sale at good prices. I have a pair of KC Daylighters on some windshield brackets that I got from Amazon.

That catalog is like a gambling addiction...most people end up broke after going through it.

i had the same problem with my headlights, you can adjust them down. get them on a level surface and adjust them to a wall about 15 to 20 feet ahead. i cant remember exactly but i think the adjustment is behind the headlight bezel. just food for thought so you can buy something else out of the quadra crack catalog

Just an Idea on lights. The Lights sold as "off road" are expensive. I have used several types KC's, Hella's etc....I now go the either the Truck or Heavy equipment catalogs. Real bright, heavy duty, alot cheaper. This week I just bought a chromed steel set 4" diameter for 14.99 each. Maybe not quite as bright as my KC's but pretty close, and for the price you cant complain.

I also have the extenda trunk deal. Mine with carpet though.

It really doesnt extend crap, actually makes the space a tad smaller. But is very nice to be able to lock up the back door.

Quadratech is usually overpriced but great customer service. 4wheelparts or 4wd has great prices but poor customer service and sometimes things take a long time to arrive.

And yea Hella 500, I got them for $37 shipped last year from Amazon, dont go solely from Quadratech, I for one am never in a rush to buy anything so I just go with 4wd which has cheaper prices most time by far.
