Do a CARFAX and see if anything was reported on it.

Well that cool lifted one in Tampa is sold so its now a mute point.
Im having this one inspected tomorrow. It looks spotless, both tops, immobilser, nice tires, just looks amazing condition. Good base to start from.

http://www.autotrader.com/dealers/dd...aler_id=504938

BTW if anyone NEEDS a Carfax done let me know I have unlimited for the next 30 days.
Just give me the VIN and email to send it to

Hell, I'd leave them on the sales mans desk, why take something home you don't want? The stuff there appears to be the soft top door surrounds and maybe the window roll or something. That looks like a keeper, I'd snap it up if it checks out ok!

Getting it inspected tomorrow, if they like it I WILL!
Hope its as clean as the picture show it to be, from pictures alone it seems to be immaculate as the salesguy says it is (although he would) and he says the softop appears to have never been used.

Had the inspection done, and im kinda dissapointed, I think.
Take a look at this and let me know what you think, PARTICULARLY the underneath pics. Looks like some leakage and rust.
Good example this of a typical vehicle report

I would figure that the report would help bring the price down. All the damage reported looks like normal wear and tear plus a little neglect. Everything can be easily fixed.

the undereneath looks average for its age

you could probably give it a good cleaning and it would look much better

rust doesn't look bad at all for the year ... it's almost 10 years old. my sahara is a 99 and was a streetqueen my jeep has less rust than that but it appears to have been a street queen also. the undercarge that you see rusted is just the drive shaft and the muffler. if you look at the frame it sure dont look like that. price seems right for being in TX for year condition and miles.

pinion is the gear that connects to drive shaft.

That ones from Exotic Motors, I went to check out a few cars and saw that TJ in person. Out of what I saw, deffinately not worth 11k!!!

There are some good deals from them but not this. Also they are very melencholy in person, have no emotions. Sort of like negotiating with a brick wall

I agree w/ MrBigJeep... that doesn't seem like it has a body lift.. i assume by body lift they mean the jeep it self has been lifted?

I wanted my rig stock for 1 reason. It just feels better when you do the mods your self and install them with your own hands and your own "blood, sweat and tears" so you can see your own "baby" growing up.

yeah I agree I bought my car new, stock, and I did everything on it other than things that need a lift to do.
BUT, I wouldnt mind a headstart this time

Not to mention the 'wife factor'
Yeah, you know what I mean. Having to run everything by 'the boss' before you can do it or spend the money on it. If its already got it all thats taken care of LOL

thats a good deal only has 47k on it for $12g. most sahara stock run 12g's with 80k on them. i'd snatch that up. If you look at the back of the tub and the bumper frame. you can see it has no body lift.

GET IT!

The soft top comes w/ a bag for safety keeping so even thought the bag looks new, the soft top may be torn to pieces underneath..
