Exclamation HELP !!! NEW GUY HERE Help !!!

Hello all !!!
this will be my first post AWESOME SITE ! packed full of everything we will ever need ! has helped me so much already so decided sign up give it a shot !
ok on to the problem

I have just recently bought a 2000 jeep wrangler TJ which is awesome but has given quite the frustrations! as a chevy truck owner Ive never had to be a mechanic until now ! just kidding
Anyway after all the other problems have been fixed thanks to this site i am left to this one : It sometimes decides not to start ! at complete random it just sits there , not cranking but power on " radio , heater , lights everything but the starter ! I have came to notice if i throw a fit inside in anger jump around go through gears , slam the door it will rattle something to start the starter ! which lead me to believe ok maybe the starter solenoid???, BUT i get going down the highway and it cuts off !stalls! just drops , gauges go down all dash lights turn on ,since im rollin it bumps starts and runs fine until it has its next fit.

I have belived possibly the cps but when thats unplugged it still trips the starter to at least turn , ive check terminals , grounds, everything anyone of u jeep pros have an idea ? i am going to go buy a neutral safety switch tomorrow n toss on only thing that can make sense to me but it cut the engine off mid run ? please help if u manged to read all this and understand fn kudos to you & thanks so much for your time to help

I'm not certain the two problems are related unless u got a really bad ignition switch.

I used to have the same hing only the starter would crank but engine wouldnt turn over. It was tge flywheel sensor. If u have a manual you could have the clutch sensor bad. Sorry thats all i could add. Hopefully someone will solve it for you.

Clutch pedal switch won't cause it to cut off. Look under ur dash, follow the clutch pedal up near the firewall and u will see a two wire plug. U can unplug that and jump the harness and that will bypass ur clutch pedal switch. Then ur vehicle's computer will think the clutch is always being depressed. If that doesn't change anything, then u know it's not that switch causing it.

check the battery cables again, where they are on the battery, and trace the main cable down to the starter, look for corrosion, loose bolts, and cracks.
i had a similar problem with my cherokee, ity never cut off, but sometimes after i shut it off, it wouldnt crank, the radio would come on and everything, but cable end had a crack that i couldnt see, and the resistance was to much for the starter to turn over, and then i would look around under the hood, find nothing wrong, and closeing the hood would bump the cable and it would work fine for a couple more weeks. so when you said throwing a fit helps, it could be you vibrate the car enough that the cable connects, and works for you.

I checked fuses , relays ! im really about to tap out here .. i unplugged the Neutral safety switch see if i can overide that problem... Ive yet to drive it. but if it still continues im spent on ideas here !
