Help please

Engine light just came on when I was driving on the highway, I drive an automatic. And I felt the engine try to switch gears up and the car jerked ?

Stop by an auto parts store and have them read the codes. No one can help you without the codes.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I've heard it said and seen it true. Everytime it's called a "car," a puppy dies. You don't want that do you?

Well, it was said, so a puppy did die, but another might be spared in the future!

I see you already got the code, but according to the video below there are a couple tricks. The first being an OBD code checker, and a dashboard cluster checker. One of the comments listed was a link to a TJ OBD Code list: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B-RB...hwN1RtclE/edit

Post the diagnostic trouble code here. Can't help you otherwise. P.S. Just because a DTC says something like "...Camshaft Position Sensor..." does not mean it is always the camshaft position sensor at fault. Various things can cause that DTC to set. Just a word of wisdom. It will get expensive throwing parts at a car.
