Help/Suggestions- Just bought my first jeep

I'm very excited and happy to say that I own a TJ Wrangler!!

This is my first jeep and my first time dealing with a 4x4...

I have an idea of the things I'm looking to do to it, I just have no idea where to start? I'm blown away at all the stuff you can get into and to be honest it's kind of intimidating. I don't have a ton of money but I would like to use good quality stuff.(nothing to extreme)

So where do I start? Lift kit, tires/rims, lights, exhaust, etc..

Also what brands do you guys suggest and why...

Thanks!

a good suggestion is to go out off roading and then youll find out what you need over time . If yo uwant your jeep to look better then bigger tires and a lift kit are 1 on the list

I love the look of kc lights but thats just me! a couple hundred bucks and youre set

If you go and buy a buncha stuff now you might now end up using it later is what im sayin

Yep, Bob is dead on there... Wheel it stock a few times and figure out what you need/want. Save yourself lots of time, money and aggravation. Stock Jeeps are very capable, and you may find you don't need a lot, and the more you live with it, the more easily you'll identify the things you'd like to change about it.

Welcome to the forum, don't forget to wave!

Welcome. I've had my TJ for about 3 months. I'd recommend getting a 2nd job to pay for accessories and gas! Jeeps aren't cheap.

Yeppers, like everyone's saying: Just drive it. It will tell you what it wants if you listen

That's what I've done with each 4x4 I've had, after my first. I threw money at that one, and then wasn't happy with what I ended up with, lol!

And browse the forums. Look at what other people have. You might spot something you like, or hear about a mod that is the answer to a question you've been thinking about!

Welcome!
