HELP!! What do I do?

Guys/Gals
I tried to do an alignment today by myself and a friend and I lifted it up and it tipped to the side... Like moved to the side I guess and idk what to do... I drove it around my neighborhood and it seems ok but when I pulled into the drive-way and turned the steering wheel to the right, the left side of the body lifted up a bit and the tires turned... but when I turn it to the left nothing happens, just the tires move.

Should I just take it to a shop and let me handle it? I was planning on doing it today but idk what shop is open? WalMart??

Thanks

You lifted it up and it tipped? Explain.

If you align it yourself, you do it on the ground. Best to back it up, then roll it forward a foot or so and start there.

So, do it again and make sure everything is tightened up when you're done. Also, check all the joints and make sure nothing is loose. The tie rod should rotate a bit, not move side to side (unless you move it hard enough to move the tires).

Just take it to a shop and have them do it.

How do you actually go about doing an alignment yourself?

AutoXer on youtube has 3 good videos on how to check it. I'd rather just have a shop check and get it aligned then do it my self.

That is part 1 of 3 of showing you how to check it.

Yeah I tried it from 4x4xplor.com and I lifted it up trying to put jacks on it but it moved to left... like the jack slipped when lifting it.. dumb mistake.
But I took it to goodyear today and they said they couldn't even move the tie rod.. It was frozen to where it was it's so bad... They said whenever I get new tires I should get a new front end (tie rod, drag link, and track bar)...

The tie rod is just a little rusty spray it and use a pipe wrench it will move! As far as replacing all those parts for new tires! He's just trying rip you off!

Oh I have a 4wdspecialties sticker on my windshield and he said go to them.. I don't know why I didn't think about asking him.. He fixed my body lift. Lol dumb mistake he also said to lubricate a couple times a week for two weeks and see how it is. I might do that. Hopefully won't have to buy everything lol
