Help with My 4.0 engine tick when gearing up

I've read all I can find and listened to countless you-tube videos with the famous 4.0 jeep tick tap knock.

My 01 4.0 manual has a tick but it is when I start off going through the gears 1st-3rd then either it quitings down or road noise drowns it out.

It ramps up with engine speed, If I granny it it is a slower tick if I Hoss it it is a rapid tick. When I push in the clutch and rev I can't seem to hear the tick.
Help it's driving me crazy...

Most times yes it seems to go away after the engine reaches normal temp. A couple times once you stop for 10-20min it will return.

Mine does the same thing and almost everyone I've asked and had listened to it says its the lifters and that its common on the inline sixes and not to worry about it. But I'm not a mech so Im not sure. I'd like to know a defendant answer myself.
